What do the order statuses (incomplete, paid, delivered, etc.) mean?

Last Updated: Aug 15, 2012 09:04AM BST
If you view the orders on your film you will see the orders divided into tabs for the different statuses.  Here's an example:

What do these mean?
  • Incomplete: These are either orders in progress or abandoned orders. These are generated as soon as a user reaches the checkout  page, and if they do not complete the purchase they show up here. If you get lots of incomplete orders, it could mean that customers are having second thoughts about the price and deciding to bail out at the last minute.
  • Paid: The user has successfully completed payment. If this is a digital (rental or download) product the order is automatically fulfilled by our system. If the order is for merchandise (like a DVD) you need to click on the order and then click "Mark as delivered" once you've sent the item.
  • Delivered: If the order is digital and the user has used up their access limit, the order automatically moves from Paid to Delivered. For merchandise (like DVDs), orders move to Delivered once you've marked the order as Delivered.
  • Refunded: If there as a problem and we've refunded the customer the order moves here.
