Distrify Customer Support

We have a simple, easy-to-use WordPress plugin that makes embedding on WordPress blogs as easy as copying and pasting your Distrify URL. For instructions, go to the Distrify Embed plugin on WordPress or watch the video below.

Please note that if your Wordpress blog is hosted on wordpress.com you cannot use external embeds nor can you install plug-ins. We would recommend using a self-hosted solution which can be easily provided by most web-hosts, including Dreamhost (who offers a simple 1-click install for self-hosted Wordpress - use our DISTRIFY promo code for $50 off any Dreamhost plan).

Installation Method 1: Quick-install via WordPress Admin

1. From your Admin Dashboard, click on "Plugins" in the sidebar.
2. Then click "Add New" at the top of the page.
3. Type "Distrify" in the search box and click "Search Plugins"
4. Click "Install Now" under Distrify Embed - The plugin will download and install to your server.
5. On the next screen, click "Activate Plugin"
6. Go to Distrify and to your film page and copy the URL (e.g. http://distrify.com/films/1-J...)
7. Paste the URL in a blog post or a page. Make sure the URL is on its own line and not hyperlinked.

Installation Method 2: Advanced install via FTP

1. Upload the distrify_embed_wp directory to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress
3. Go to Distrify and to your film page and copy the URL (e.g. http://distrify.com/films/1-J...)
4. Paste the URL in a blog post or a page. Make sure the URL is on its own line and not hyperlinked.
