Can I download videos to my tablet or phone?

No, you are required to download to a laptop of computer and then transfer your file to your handheld device. This can be done in a number of ways, some of which we'll detail below - 

The easiest way to transfer files from your computer to an android would be via a USB cable. 

Windows Transfer

  1. Make sure that your device’s screen is unlocked.
  2. Connect your device to your computer using a USB cable.
  3. On your device, pull down your notification drawer by swiping down from the top of the screen. Touch the USB for... notification and then Transfer files (MTP).
  4. Use the File Transfer window that pops up on your computer to drag and drop files, just like other external devices.
  5. Eject your device from Windows, then unplug the USB cable.
Mac Transfer

To transfer files, Android File Transfer must be installed on your computer. Android File Transfer is compatible with Mac OS X 10.5 or later and Android 3.0 or later.

  1. Download and install Android File Transfer on your computer.
  2. Open Android File Transfer. (The next time you connect your device, it should open automatically.)
  3. Make sure that your device’s screen is unlocked.
  4. Connect your device to your computer using a USB cable.
  5. On your device, pull down your notification drawer by swiping down from the top of the screen. Touch the USB for... notification and then Transfer files (MTP).
  6. Use the Android File Transfer window that pops up on your computer to drag and drop files.
  7. Disconnect the USB cable when you’ve finished.

To transfer files from your computer or laptop via iTunes you should 

  1. Launch iTunes.
  2. Connect your iPad or iPhone to your computer with the USB dock cable.
  3. Select your iPad from the Devices list in the iTunes Library column, then click the Apps tab.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the iTunes window to see the File Sharing area.
  5. Apps on your iPad that support file transfers appear in the Apps list. Selecting an application’s icon tells iTunes which app you want to transfer files for.
  6. Click Add at the bottom of the Documents pane to find the documents you want to copy to your iPad.
  7. Cclick Sync to copy the documents to your iPad.
